My passion is helping you uncover and innovate around ever-changing customers' needs.
For the last 12 years, I have been developing pedagogy at Stanford University for teaching innovation and nurturing creative mindsets to management and senior leaders from leading global companies.
In my programs, I aim to inspire and drive organizational change that is focused on the consumer.
I have combined several approaches and and best practices from the fields of design, organizational psychology and neuroscience into what I call the innovation practice.
Innovation practice is an ongoing creative practice, fluid but organized. Innovation is not a stroke of genius. Everyone must be on board. It requires a set of specific mindsets, radical collaboration, rapid experimentation, and a commitment to keep learning and adapting, everyday.
You can learn more about me and my work here:
From inspirational talks, bootcamps and workshops to facilitating strategic meetings, and on-going innovation programs, tailor made for the needs of your organization, I have supported founders, C-suite, senior management, and innovation and design teams from high-growth organizations across Europe, Asia and USA.
My experience spans working with senior executives from high-tech organizations such as Genentech and Novartis, to startups and Fortune 500 companies (banking, FMCG, fin-tech, travel and insurance industries).
From New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong and Japan, to Belgium, the Czech Republic, Croatia, Denmark, Finland, Israel and the USA, I’ve worked with companies across the globe.
I am a coach for executive training programs at Stanford’s d.school and business school programs and I design and run private innovation programs for companies in the US, Europe and Asia.
“Innovating in the field of industrial maintenance technology is not an obvious task. Anja trained our R&D, sales and service teams across Europe and the US to adopt a customer centered and continuous innovation practice. Coming up and test driving new solutions in cost-effective ways made a significant impact on strengthening our market leadership. Can't think of a more thorough and in-depth innovation coach for a complex and competitive industry such as ours.”
“We worked with Anja during a very dynamic and fast moving time at Uber. She helped design and co-lead our strategic meetings. Perceptive and empathetic while still showing strong direction skills she helped us get to a new blueprint for our organization.”
“Before working with Anja, I believed the customer problems I was solving at my organization were uniquely complex and required domain-specific knowledge. Anja showed me how to think differently about our customer's needs and apply a myriad of techniques to drive innovative, customer-focused solutions. Anja's guidance has had a tremendous impact on my work. I believe her expertise can drive significant value for any organization looking to get ahead of the curve, regardless of size, or industry.”
All workshops and courses are an opportunity for learning. Whether it’s about learning new skills or brainstorming or developing solutions, facilitators need to consider how to design the ideal learning experience for their participants.
This means going beyond simply delivering content and instead, creating an experience that meaningfully engages your participants, helps learners retain information, and delivers better outcomes for all.
I would like to introduce to a concept called “the energy curve”. This curve reflects the ebb and flow in our ability to feel alert or sleepy through each 24-hour cycle. For most of us, our energy starts increasing after we wake up and we reach our first peak sometimes during our prime time window, which depends on the individual chronotype.
Chronotype is our propensity to sleep at a particular time during a 24-hour period: it affects when we want to get up in the morning, and when we are ready to hit the pillow at night. If me want to maximize our deep work and be effective in our creative practice, we need to work in sync with our chronotype.
I’d love to hear about your project, discuss your needs and brainstorm ways to improve your innovation endeavors in your organization.
